I have decided to do a giveaway!
I just finished a gorgeous batch of bottlebrush trees. I bleached and died them and then adorned them with snow glitter as well as beautiful pearly beads. Some of these are going to Brook Owens for a holiday swap. However, since I made so many I decided to give a couple away to one special reader.
So, if you would like one of these sweet little trees to adorn your home, just leave a comment. Since I'm a huge fan of Christmas music, please tell me what your favorite Christmas song is. I love so many, but one that always makes me happy and I tend to whistle all day long once I hear it is It's Beginning to Look a lot like Christmas sung by Bing Crosby. I adore Bing Crosby. I've been completely addicted to Channel 120 on XM Radio which is temporarily Bing Crosby Christmas Radio. It actually plays his original radio show from the 40's.. only Christmas ones. So cool!
Anyhow, I look forward to knowing what songs you-all are listening to this Christmas. Please leave your comment by Friday and leave your email address so that I can contact the winner for her mailing information. I plan on picking the name randomly and will ship the little trees out Saturday morning.

I like "Do You Hear What I Hear" especially the Whitney Houston version.

Unrelated to this post of yours, if you don't already read the Early Bird Special blog, I thought of you when I saw the project she posted on her blog today: http://ebscrafts.blogspot.com/2008/12/country-cool-apron.html

The bottle brush trees are absolutely adorable! Hope I win. It is so hard to pick a fave Christmas tune. Like you, I adore Bing, and I also like Andy Willliams and Perry Como. No one sings like that anymore! I guess my favorite this year is "Do You Hear What I Hear?" I have both the Andy and Perry versions. The whole Charlie Brown Christmas CD by Vince Guraldi Trio is a very close second! (methvin3@bellsouth.net)

Oh yeah, and I know it's a little corny, but I love Jingle Bell Rock. And on the more relgious side, I go for God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen.

These trees are absolutely adorable. My favorite Christmas song is White Christmas sung well by anyone. Have a Merry Christmas to everyone.

These are adorable! I don't know if I could ever chose a favorite Christmas song, but 'Merry Christmas Darling' by the Carpenters always brings a little tear to my eye...love it! 'All I want for Christmas is you' is definitely a favorite as well.

Dratted it! I made a rather lengthy comment yesterday, and come to find out it didn't even post it. :(
Anyways, my main points were those are gorgeous!! I picked up a couple glittery ones from Target in their cheapskate section (as I like to call it, and of which I am a whole-hearted member) but those aren't near as beautiful as yours.
My favorite Christmas song this week (it changes often!) is "I'll be Home for Christmas." I'm really digging the Micheal Buble version right now. It makes me all melty inside, and glad to be home for the holidays, and brings a tear to my eye whenever I hear it.
My absolute favorite, though, was from a couple years ago. My sister and I got to see Ty Herndon live just before Christmas and he sang O Holy Night acapella. Be still my heart!! I had that cheesy tunnel vision they show in the movies, and had goosebumps from the tip of my toes right up to my hair follicles. It was one of those amazing moments that's so cheesy to describe the only people who "get it" are ones that have had a moment like that themselves.

Beautiful trees!! My favorite christmas carol is Little Drummer Boy by Bing Crosby and David Bowie. I love anything Bing Crosby at Christmas.
